SVPNPA Hyderabad is hiring 1 Swimming Coach on deputation basis under the Ministry of Home Affairs. SVPNPA Swimming Coach Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad has released a notice inviting nominations for the post of Swimming Coach on deputation basis (failing which by direct recruitment). The Academy trains IPS probationers and the selected coach will be in-charge of the Academy Swimming Pool. This is a deputation opening for serving government officers only — applications must be forwarded through proper channel by the parent organisation.

Who Can Apply?

Deputation

• Service: You must be an officer of the Central Government, State Government or Union Territory Administration.
• Grade: Holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR with 6 years of regular service in Level-5 of the pay matrix (Rs. 29,200 - Rs. 92,300).

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or Institution
• Coaching Diploma or Certificate in Swimming from a recognised Institute
• Certificate of participation in Olympic Games, Asian Games, World Championship, Commonwealth Games or National Games

Experience

• 2 years of experience as Swimming Coach from a Government-recognised institution

Age Limit

• Maximum age for appointment by deputation: 56 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.
• The deputation period (including any preceding ex-cadre deputation) will normally not exceed 3 years.

Salary

• Pay Level: Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
• Pay Range: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• Classification: General Central Service Group-B (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Central Government orders
• Training Allowance: Not applicable for this post

Selection Process

This is a deputation/nomination process — there is no written exam.

1. Submission of Nomination: Your parent department/organisation forwards your bio-data (Annexure-II) along with attested ACRs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), Integrity & Vigilance Certificate, and Major/Minor Penalty details for the last 10 years.
2. Screening by Selection Committee: The Selection Committee at SVPNPA verifies your essential qualifications, experience and service record.
3. Final Selection: Based on eligibility, suitability and service profile.

How to Apply

1. Get the bio-data proforma (Annexure-II) from the SVPNPA notice on svpnpa.gov.in under the 'Vacancies' tab.
2. Fill in all 18 items of the bio-data including service details, qualifications, present employment and achievements.
3. Attach attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for 2020-21 to 2024-25.
4. Get the Integrity, Vigilance and Penalty certificates from your employer/cadre controlling authority.
5. Have the application duly attested and countersigned by the competent authority.
