Who Can Apply?

Chief Operating Officer

• Qualification: Bachelor in Technology/Engineering or equivalent, or Master in Technology/Engineering/Science, or MBA from a recognised and reputed institute or university.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years overall experience in IT/electronics, startup ecosystem, incubation, acceleration, entrepreneurship development, mentoring, or similar innovation organisations.
• Skills: Business acumen, startup ecosystem knowledge, stakeholder management, fundraising exposure, communication, and understanding of AgriTech, ESDM, AI, IoT, machine learning, analytics, blockchain, and related technologies.

Incubation Manager

• Qualification: Graduate from a recognised university. Post-graduation in Management is desirable.
• Experience: More than 5 years work experience, including at least 3 years in incubation management and the incubation ecosystem.
• Skills: Startup outreach, mentor network building, stakeholder coordination, digital marketing, product landscape understanding, and Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar productivity tools.

Finance & Administration Executive

• Qualification: Graduate from a recognised university. Post-graduation in Management is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years work experience in the relevant field.
• Skills: Accounts, bank operations, taxation, GST, TDS, budget support, audit support, office records, reports, presentations, and startup/incubation coordination.

Lab Engineer

• Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognised university. Post-graduation in Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years work experience in the relevant field.
• Skills: Testing and measuring instruments, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analysers, PCB prototyping, 3D printers, motors, batteries, controllers, sensors, embedded tools, coordination, and technical communication.

Age Limit

• Chief Operating Officer: Below 45 years.
• Incubation Manager: Below 35 years.
• Finance & Administration Executive: Below 35 years.
• Lab Engineer: Below 35 years.
• Age reference date: Maximum age will be counted as on the last date for receipt of applications, 9 July 2026.
• Relaxation may be allowed for deserving candidates as mentioned in the notice.

Salary

• Chief Operating Officer: Rs. 1,50,000 per month
• Incubation Manager: Rs. 55,000 per month
• Finance & Administration Executive: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Lab Engineer: Rs. 30,000 per month
• Higher/relaxed pay may be considered for deserving candidates as per industry standards, where mentioned in the notice.

Selection Process (No Written Exam Mentioned)

The selection process is based on screening and personal interview:

1. Application Screening: A Screening Committee will check applications received by the last date against qualification, age, academic record, and relevant experience.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called before the Selection Committee on the scheduled date and time.

• Manage SmartAgri CoE operations, startup incubation, lab support, finance, or administration based on the assigned post

• Coordinate with STPI officials, government departments, mentors, investors, vendors, startups, and service providers
