RITES Manager Railway Design and Operation Recruitment 2026: Overview
RITES Limited is recruiting a Manager in Railway Design and Operation through immediate absorption from the regular Indian Railways cadre. Responsibilities
- Prepare railway operation plans for assigned work.
- Assess train scheduling, rake management and traffic arrangements.
- Review yard and station layouts using railway operating rules.
- Prepare technical assessments and reports.
- Coordinate with departments on railway design and operating matters.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university; regular/permanent Indian Railways service in 7th CPC Pay Level 7.
Preferred Qualification
Relevant additional qualifications such as M.Tech or MBA receive credit in the assessment.
Required Skills
Railway operating rules, yard design, station and yard layouts, signalling, block working, operation planning, technical reports, interdepartmental coordination and MS Office.
