Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is hiring 14 Apprentices across 6 different trades at its Faridabad campus in Haryana. If you have a degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Commerce, Management, IT, or you are 10th and 12th pass (for Painter), you can attend the walk-in interview. The stipend is Rs. 13,500 per month and the training lasts 1 year. Walk-in dates are between 8 and 12 June 2026.

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an institution of the Department of Biotechnology, has invited applications for 14 Apprentice posts under the Apprentice Act, 1961 (Advt. No. RCB/APPRENTICE/04/2026-27/SD). This is a walk-in interview covering six trades — Biological Science, Commerce/Arts, Engineering, Management, Information Technology, and Painter. There is no written exam — selection is purely on merit based on your degree or diploma marks. Freshers who have not done apprenticeship training before can apply.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification (by trade)

• Biological Science: B.Tech or B.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Microbiology
• Engineering: BE or B.Tech in Civil, Instrumentation or Electrical
• Commerce / Arts: B.Com or B.A.
• Management: Any Graduate
• Information Technology: Graduate or BCA with a Diploma in Computer Applications
• Painter: 10th and 12th passed

Other Requirements

• You must have completed your qualification from a recognised University or Institute.
• You must register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) within the last 3 years before applying.
• You should not have done apprenticeship training before.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 14 years
• Maximum age: 28 years (as on 19 May 2026)
• Age Relaxation: Given to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and Ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Stipend

• You will get a stipend of Rs. 13,500 per month during the apprenticeship.
• The training period is 1 year.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Merit Check: Selection is based on the marks you scored in the relevant degree or diploma for each trade.
2. Document Verification: Bring all original certificates for checking at the venue.

How to Apply

1. Register yourself on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in (if not done already).
2. Attend the walk-in interview on the date fixed for your trade.
3. Carry all original certificates, degrees, marksheets, CV, Aadhaar card and 4 passport-size photos along with 1 set of photocopies.
4. Report at the venue between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
5. Venue: RCB, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Haryana 121001.

• Walk-in Interview (Other Trades): 10 to 12 June 2026
• Reporting Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

• Work under the guidance of RCB scientists and staff in your assigned trade
• Learn practical skills in your field during the training period
• Assist with laboratory, technical, administrative or maintenance tasks as per your trade
• Keep proper records of the work you carry out each day
• Follow all safety rules and lab guidelines at the campus
• Complete the assignments and tasks given by your supervisor on time
