ESIC Faridabad Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad is holding a walk-in interview for Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors across its broad-specialty departments. These are contract teaching posts that start with a one-year term and can run for up to three years if your work is satisfactory. The drive covers more than 20 departments, from pre-clinical subjects like Anatomy and Physiology to clinical wings like Medicine, Surgery, ICU and Radiology — so most specialists with the NMC-prescribed qualification will find at least one opening. • Associate Professor: openings in Accident & Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, Medicine, Paediatrics, Physiology, PMR, Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, and Surgery.
• Assistant Professor: openings in Accident & Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Chest, Forensic Medicine, ICU, Medicine, OBG, Pathology, Paediatrics, Physiology, Radiology, and Surgery.
• Reserved-category posts held by unreserved faculty: some posts are currently filled by unreserved faculty working against a reserved slot. ESIC will interview for these only if candidates from that reserved category turn up.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: One year at first, extendable up to three years subject to approval and satisfactory performance; tenure ends at 70 years at the latest.
• Termination and resignation: ESIC can end the contract at any time in public interest. If you want to leave, you must give one month's notice or pay one month's salary instead.
• Security deposit: Selected faculty deposit a refundable security amount by demand draft. It is forfeited if you resign within six months, except in exceptional circumstances, and returned after the contract ends with a No Dues Certificate.
• No regular-service benefits: The post carries no PF, pension or gratuity.
• No private practice: Private practice is not allowed, and attendance is marked on a biometric system.
• Housing: Hostel or quarters are given only if available.
• Certificates: EWS and OBC certificates must be in the proper Government of India format.
• Travel: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
