NIT Tiruchirappalli Hostel Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Hostel Administration Committee (HAC) of National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli has released a notice for 1 Accountant and 2 Hostel Assistant Manager (Female) posts. The hiring is done through manpower outsourcing agency M/s. United Services, 388/1, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai. These are purely temporary positions for the NIT Trichy hostels and do not confer any right to permanent or future employment with the institute. Freshers with relevant experience can apply.

Note: The Hostel Assistant Manager posts are reserved exclusively for female candidates.

Who Can Apply?

For Accountant (1 Post):

• Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Desirable Skills: Knowledge of financial management, accounts, GST, fee collection, procurement and tender procedures, salary management. Proficiency in Tally software, MS Office and Excel with strong typing skills. Good communication skills for reporting to management.

For Hostel Assistant Manager - Female (2 Posts):

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
• Gender: Female candidates only
• Experience: Minimum 1 year
• Desirable Skills: Knowledge of student care and hostel operations. Ability to support student welfare and well-being. Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping. Knowledge of typing and MS Office. Good communication skills.

Salary

• Accountant: As per the Minimum Wages Act - Highly Skilled category
• Hostel Assistant Manager (Female): As per the Minimum Wages Act - Skilled category
• Exact monthly amounts will follow the prevailing Tamil Nadu minimum wage rates for the respective skill category

Selection Process

Selection will be done by the outsourcing agency in 2 stages:

1. Application Screening: M/s. United Services will screen all online applications based on qualification and experience.
2. Selection / Empanelment: Eligible candidates will be selected and empanelled for deployment at the NIT Trichy hostels.

There is no written exam for these temporary posts.
