National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala), an Institute of National Importance in Tripura, has released a notification for 4 Technical Assistant Trainee posts under its Computer Science & Engineering department. This is a Fixed Period Internship meant for young, tech-savvy graduates who passed out in 2024, 2025, or 2026. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, AI, or any related CS specialization from a recognized Indian university, OR an MCA degree, with First Division (60% marks or 6.5 CGPA).
• Graduation Year: You must have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026. If your result is awaited, you can still apply, but you will need to submit proof at the interview. Candidates who graduated before 2024 need not apply.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and data tools like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. Familiarity with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and data visualization tools is needed. Experience with database management, data cleaning, basic web technologies, or handling microprocessors/hardware kits is a plus.

Age Limit

• You should not be older than 24 years as on the last date of application (7 August 2026).

Salary

• Selected trainees will get a fixed consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on:

1. Written Test and/or Personal Interview: Depending on the number of applications received, NIT Agartala may conduct a written test, a personal interview, or both.

You will need to bring original documents, self-attested copies of your marksheets and certificates, and a passport-size photo to the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.

Keep in mind that this is a purely temporary training arrangement — being selected does not entitle you to any claim on a regular position, and you will not get benefits like housing or medical facilities available to permanent employees of the institute.
