National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala) JRF Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
NIT Agartala has released Advertisement No. F.NITA.14(Physics)/Project 2016/ANRF/JRF for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I position under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded project titled "Development of a Machine Learning Assisted Wearable Sensor for Real-Time Detection of Acetone in Ear Canal for Diabetes Monitoring". The project runs for 36 months under Principal Investigator Dr. Suvra Prakash Mondal in the Department of Physics. This is a good opportunity for M.Sc Physics graduates interested in nanomaterials and sensor research, and the selected candidate also gets the option to register for a Ph.D. at NIT Agartala later. This ANRF-funded project focuses on building a wearable, real-time diabetes-monitoring device by detecting acetone levels in the ear canal — a growing area of biomedical sensor research.
