National Brain Research Centre Research Associate-I Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar, has issued Advertisement No. Acad./02/2026 dated 05 June 2026 for one Research Associate-I position. The post is under Dr. Bhavani Shankar Sahu's project titled beta-phenylethylamine and TAAR-1 pathway as a pharmacological target against Huntington's disease. This is a project co-terminus position, so the appointment will follow the project period and NBRC project rules.
The project sits in a specialised neuroscience and life sciences research environment at NBRC Manesar, Gurugram. Essential Qualification

- Thesis-submitted applicants: If you have already submitted your Ph.D., M.D. or M.S. thesis, you can apply. If selected before final degree qualification, you will get the lower fellowship until thesis defence is completed. Keep your thesis submission proof ready because the fellowship level depends on this status.
Preferred Experience
- Physiology and cell biology experience will be preferred.
- Molecular pharmacology, cell culture, CRISPR and mouse handling are useful additional skills for this project.
- Research communication: Your CV should clearly show publications, thesis status, lab techniques and project experience because NBRC will shortlist before interview.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 40 years.

Fellowship
- RA Provisional: Rs. 45,000 per month plus HRA as applicable for thesis-submitted applicants.
- RA with Ph.D. degree: Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA as applicable.
- Accommodation: NBRC may provide accommodation as per rules, subject to availability.
- Project terms: The job contract will follow the project terms and the rules used by NBRC from time to time.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
