Maharishi Valmiki Hospital (MVH), Government of NCT of Delhi, is recruiting Senior Residents for departments at its Pooth Khurd campus. This is an ad hoc walk-in recruitment under the Residency Scheme. The appointments provide a temporary arrangement while the hospital fills posts through regular recruitment.

Posts and Disciplines

• Radiology: Senior Resident engagement in the hospital's Radiology department.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your appointment lasts for 89 days or until a fresh or regular appointee joins, whichever happens first. You may therefore leave before completing the stated tenure.
• Regular recruitment takes priority: The notice specifically warns that an ad hoc resident's service may end when regular residents join through the Delhi government or the hospital's regular recruitment.
• Previous Senior Residency: Doctors who have already completed three years of Senior Residency may also apply. They will be considered only when fresh Senior Residents are unavailable, with an initial 89-day appointment extendable up to one year.
• Reservation: If applicants from a reserved category do not attend, the hospital may fill those seats from other categories under the reservation policy.
• Changing requirements: The number of openings may change. The notice does not promise that all advertised seats will remain available throughout the walk-in period.
• Travel expenses: You must pay your own travel costs. The hospital will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending.
