Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) is hiring for 10 posts at its State Mission Management Unit (SMMU) in Shillong. The Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) — the nodal agency of the Government of Meghalaya for implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) — has invited applications for 10 posts across five different roles under the State Mission Management Unit. Local candidates and those who can speak the local language will be given preference. These posts suit candidates who want to work for rural development and poverty alleviation in Meghalaya.

Who Can Apply?

Project Manager – Enterprise Development & Finance (Rs. 46,800)

• Post Graduate degree in Business Management (Finance/Commerce) + 3 years experience in Rural Development/Poverty Alleviation, OR a Bachelor's in the same field + 5 years experience.
• Experience in Finance/Marketing/Banking/Micro Finance and computer skills (Microsoft Packages, Google Suite).

Project Manager – SVEP (Rs. 46,800)

• Post Graduate degree in Business Management (Finance/Mathematics/Commerce) + 3 years experience in a Business/Producer Organization, Livelihoods/Rural Development projects, or an SVEP-like project.
• Strong numerical and business finance skills; training rural masses is preferred.

Project Manager – Livestock & Fisheries (Rs. 46,800)

• Bachelor's or Master's in Veterinary Science (BVSc) or Master's in Animal Science/Fisheries/Livestock Management + 3 years project management experience (preferably livestock/fisheries).
• Knowledge of fish hatcheries, pond operations, and farm animal health management.

State Accountant (Rs. 33,800)

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce + working knowledge of Tally + 3 years experience in Accounts and Financial Management.

State MIS Coordinator (Rs. 33,800)

• Degree in B.Tech/M.Tech/B.Sc Computer Science or IT/MCA + 2 years experience in Data Entry, MIS Management, Data Analysis & Reporting.

All candidates must have at least 45% marks, fluency in English and local languages, and good computer skills.

Age Limit

• Project Manager posts: Within 35 years of age.
• State Accountant and MIS Coordinator: Within 30 years of age.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• For Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), age is relaxable by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST) as per Meghalaya Government policy.

Salary

• Project Manager (all three): Rs. 46,800 per month.
• State Accountant: Rs. 33,800 per month.
• State MIS Coordinator: Rs. 33,800 per month.
• All posts are contractual, transferable, and involve travel and stay in villages for about 15 days a month.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates are informed by email and go through a multi-stage selection process:

1. Preliminary Examination: Tests your verbal, quantitative and analytical ability. Held at Shillong.
2. Group Discussion
3. Skill Test and any other test MSRLS decides.

No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the examination.
