Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) is the nodal agency of the Government of Meghalaya for implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), West Khasi Hills has invited applications for the post of Integrated Farming Cluster (IFC) Anchor under the Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) Block at Mawshynrut. This is a temporary, contractual position - there is no provision for permanent absorption. The role involves extensive travel and overnight stays in remote rural areas, so only candidates who are committed to serving rural communities should apply.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Integrated Farming Cluster (IFC) projects at the Block Level
  • Maintain accurate data and records for the MKSP project
  • Anchor and guide the work of senior CRPs (Community Resource Persons) at the Block Level
  • Travel extensively and stay overnight in remote rural areas as required
  • Engage with rural farming communities to support project implementation
  • Report progress and challenges to the District Mission Management Unit
  • Support agriculture and marketing-related activities at the cluster level
