MSRLS West Khasi Hills IFC Anchor Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS) is the nodal agency of the Government of Meghalaya for implementing the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), West Khasi Hills has invited applications for the post of Integrated Farming Cluster (IFC) Anchor under the Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) Block at Mawshynrut. This is a temporary, contractual position - there is no provision for permanent absorption. The role involves extensive travel and overnight stays in remote rural areas, so only candidates who are committed to serving rural communities should apply.

  • Alternative: A B.Sc degree with relevant work experience in Agriculture or Marketing will also be considered.

Salary

  • Honorarium: Rs. 26,250 per month (inclusive of TA/DA)

The selection involves a multi-stage process:

  1. Preliminary Examination: Tests your verbal and analytical ability
  2. Group Discussion
  3. Skill Test
  4. Any other test as MSRLS may decide

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Integrated Farming Cluster (IFC) projects at the Block Level
  • Maintain accurate data and records for the MKSP project
  • Anchor and guide the work of senior CRPs (Community Resource Persons) at the Block Level
  • Travel extensively and stay overnight in remote rural areas as required
  • Engage with rural farming communities to support project implementation
  • Report progress and challenges to the District Mission Management Unit
  • Support agriculture and marketing-related activities at the cluster level

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Allied Science. Alternatively, a B.Sc degree with relevant work experience in Agriculture or Marketing.

Salary & Compensation

Pay Scale

Exam Pattern

The selection process is multi-modal and involves multiple stages.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

  • Tests your verbal ability and analytical ability
  • Date, venue, and timing will be intimated in advance

Stage 2: Group Discussion

Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will participate in a group discussion to assess communication and teamwork skills.

Stage 3: Skill Test

A skill test relevant to the IFC Anchor role to evaluate practical ability.

Note: Candidates appearing for any stage of the examination will not be paid any TA/DA.
