Preparation Tips for MPPSC Homeopathic Medical Officer Exam

  • Download the official syllabus from the MPPSC website at mppsc.mp.gov.in as soon as it is published — the syllabus is the only reliable guide for what topics to study
  • The exam is focused on Homeopathic Medicine, so give extra time to Homeopathic Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, Homeopathic Repertory, and Practice of Medicine — these are core BHMS subjects that MPPSC has tested in previous cycles
  • Refer to the previous Homeopathic Medical Officer exam syllabus published by MPPSC in 2022 for a sense of the subject areas, but always wait for the official 2026 syllabus before finalising your preparation plan
  • Practice previous year MPPSC question papers to get used to the OMR format and the difficulty level of MCQ questions
  • Since there is negative marking, do not guess randomly — only attempt questions you are reasonably confident about
  • Take at least 5 to 10 full mock tests before the exam so you can manage time properly on exam day
  • The exam is only at Indore, so plan your travel and accommodation well in advance — admit cards will be available from 28 May 2026
