ESIC Hospital, Sonagiri, Bhopal is hiring 42 doctors — 26 Senior Residents and 16 Full Time/Part Time Contractual Specialists — across 15 medical departments through a walk-in interview. ESIC Hospital, Sonagiri, Bhopal has released Advertisement No. 03/2026 for 26 Contractual Senior Resident posts under the Central Residency Scheme and 16 Full Time/Part Time Contractual Specialist posts, spread across 15 departments including Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Orthopedics, Radiology and Pediatrics. There is no written exam — selection is through document verification followed directly by a walk-in interview. Both fresh postgraduates and experienced specialists can apply for this recruitment.

Vacancy Breakdown by Department

Preference for the Accident & Emergency (Casualty) Specialist post will be given to candidates with a PG in Critical Care.

Who Can Apply?

For Senior Resident (3 Years, Central Residency Scheme):

• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/PG Diploma in the required discipline from a recognized university, OR MBBS with 2 years of working experience in the same discipline (not from a private clinic)
• Registration: Valid Medical Council of India or State Medical Council registration

For Full Time/Part Time Specialist:

• Qualification: MBBS and PG Degree in the concerned/broad specialty with 3 years of work experience, OR PG Diploma with 5 years of work experience in the concerned/broad specialty
• Registration: Must be registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council

Age Limit

• Senior Resident: Age should not exceed 45 years as on the date of interview.
• Specialist (Full Time/Part Time): Age should not exceed 67 years as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates get age relaxation as per DoPT rules.

Salary

• Senior Resident: Entry Pay Level-11 with basic pay of Rs. 67,700 per month, plus other allowances admissible in ESIC.
• Full Time Specialist: Entry Pay Level-11 with basic pay of Rs. 67,700 per month, plus allowances.
• Part Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000 per month for a 4-hour session per day, 4 days a week, plus Rs. 15,000 for emergency call duty availability. Extra hours beyond 16 hours a week are paid at Rs. 800 per hour.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection for these posts is done directly through the following stages:

1. Document Verification: Held from 9:15 AM to 11:00 AM on your scheduled interview date. Candidates reporting after 11:15 AM will not be entertained.
2. Walk-In Interview: Only candidates whose documents are verified and found eligible will be allowed to attend the interview.
3. Medical Fitness Check: Your appointment is subject to a medical fitness check.

Preference will be given to Full Time Specialists. Part Time Specialists will be considered only if a Full Time Specialist is not available for a category.

How to Apply

2. Attach self-attested copies of your age proof, qualification certificates, MCI/State registration, category certificate and experience certificate.
3. Attach 2 recent passport size photographs.
4. If you are currently employed, bring your experience certificate and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer.
5. Report to the Administration Office, Ground Floor, ESIC Hospital, Sonagiri, Bhopal-462022, M.P. between 9:15 AM and 11:00 AM on your department's scheduled date.
6. Complete document verification before 11:15 AM, then attend the walk-in interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Submit a separate application for each post you are applying to.

• Provide patient care and treatment in the assigned department
• Assist senior doctors during rounds, procedures and emergencies

• Guide junior residents and support staff in clinical procedures
• Coordinate with other departments for patient referrals and diagnosis
