Who Can Apply?

Assistant Financial Advisor (1 post)

• Qualified CA / CMA. Upper age 35 years. Posting at VDPD Workshop, Visakhapatnam.

Assistant Materials Manager (1 post)

• B.E. in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Electronics with 60% marks. PGDMM/MBA in Material Management or M.Tech preferred.
• Experience: 3 years in Materials Management in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt undertaking. Upper age 30 years.

Section Officer (2 posts)

• B.Com + 7 years experience, OR M.Com + 4 years experience, OR Inter CA/CMA + 2 years experience in a company. Upper age 40 years.

Depot Materials Superintendent (3 posts)

• B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Electronics with 60% marks. PGDMM/MBA in Material Management preferred. No experience required. Upper age 30 years.

Personnel Inspector (2 posts)

• Diploma/Degree in Labour Laws, OR any graduate with PG Diploma in Personnel Management / MBA in HR / PG Diploma in HRM. No experience required. Upper age 30 years.

Age Limit

• Maximum age as on 01 May 2026: AFA - 35 years; AMM, DMS, Personnel Inspector - 30 years; Section Officer - 40 years.
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is discretionary.

Salary

• Assistant Financial Advisor / Assistant Materials Manager: Rs. 67,140 to Rs. 76,660 per month (consolidated, by city class).
• Section Officer: Rs. 50,060 to Rs. 57,140 per month (consolidated).
• Depot Materials Superintendent / Personnel Inspector: Rs. 41,380 to Rs. 47,220 per month (consolidated).
• The consolidated pay includes Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance and Mobile Allowance. Pay increases by 4% every year.
• You also get a complimentary railway pass, gratuity, bonus and insurance as per the New Labour Code-2026.

Selection Process (Walk-In Interview)

Selection is through a walk-in interview:

1. Registration: Report at the venue between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon on the interview date with original certificates and a filled application form (Annexure A).
2. Screening: Applications are checked first; only eligible candidates are interviewed. A Group Discussion or written test may be added if many candidates turn up.
3. Interview: A nominated KRCL committee interviews you and prepares a merit list based on interview performance, qualification and experience.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness test before joining.

The committee's decision is final and binding. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

3. Attend the walk-in interview at Executive Club, Konkan Rail Vihar, near Seawoods Railway Station, Sector-40, Seawoods (West), Navi Mumbai.
4. 22 June 2026: Assistant Financial Advisor, Assistant Materials Manager and Section Officer.
5. 23 June 2026: Depot Materials Superintendent and Personnel Inspector.
6. Carry all original certificates for verification.
