IISER Tirupati Research Associate Chemistry Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati (IISER Tirupati) is recruiting a Research Associate-1 for a Chemistry project led by Dr. Kiran Kumar Pulukuri. The ANRF-supported work focuses on the total synthesis of cryspatanolide and euonyminol through site-selective olefin functionalization, alongside process development for the anticancer drug trabectedin. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: The role is purely temporary and tied to ANRF Project Code 30225240; it does not create a right to a regular IISER Tirupati or funding-agency position.
• Initial tenure: The first offer covers seven months. Renewal depends on satisfactory work and the continuing life of the project.
• Screening: Meeting the basic academic requirement does not guarantee an interview. A screening committee may shortlist applicants by considering research quality and relevant experience beyond the minimum.
• Research evidence: Your form should clearly show strong work completed during or after your doctoral programme, especially any organic synthesis or natural-product synthesis experience.
• Funding terms: The appointment follows the conditions set for this project by the funding agency and ends automatically when the research project closes, without creating a separate claim for compensation.
• Academic recognition: Your doctoral qualification must come from a recognised university or institution. The project team can consider stronger research credentials while preparing the interview shortlist.
• Travel support: IISER Tirupati will not pay TA or DA for attending the interview.
• Joining: The selected researcher must be ready to join immediately after receiving the offer.
• Application integrity: IISER Tirupati may cancel the candidature or appointment if the information, photograph or supporting records are inaccurate, or if eligibility is later found to be unmet.
