Post-wise Duties

DGM, Structural Engineer / Buildings

You will guide structural design decisions, review calculations and drawings, and coordinate complex building packages with other disciplines. Your work will draw on substantial experience with RCC, steel and composite structures.

Structural and Public Health Engineering Roles

You will prepare or review engineering designs and coordinated BIM models, resolve clashes, and keep technical outputs aligned with project standards. The public-health role focuses on water, sewerage, drainage, treatment and fire-fighting systems.

Architecture Roles

You will plan functional, code-compliant buildings and coordinate layouts with structure and services teams. Depending on your post, the work centres on healthcare facilities, general buildings or metro stations.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Probation: The initial probation is one year. Confirmation depends on performance, document checks and passing the company screening test; the period may be extended if needed.
• Posting: You can be posted anywhere in India or abroad according to project needs.
• Outside applications: RITES will not forward an employee's application for another job until the employee completes two years of company service.
• Qualification standard: Degrees must be recognised by the appropriate authority. Marks and class requirements differ for unreserved and reserved vacancies, and you may need an official CGPA conversion formula.
• Experience counting: Internship, teaching, academic fellowship and PhD research periods do not count as the required work experience; qualifying apprenticeship training can count.
• Attendance costs: RITES will not pay travel or daily allowance for the recruitment process.
