KRCL Assistant Security Commissioner/RPF Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. DE/06/2026 to fill one post of Assistant Security Commissioner/RPF on deputation. The selected officer will be posted at KRCL's office in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, and will look after railway security matters for the Corporation. This is a deputation posting — only officers already serving in the Railway Protection Force are eligible, not fresh candidates from outside the railways. The normal term of deputation is 3 years, extendable up to a maximum of 5 years.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification/Eligibility: You must currently be a Junior Scale RPF Officer in Level-10 (Regular or Adhoc), or an Inspector RPF who has completed at least 5 years in Inspector Grade (Level-7).
• Deputation Route: Serving officers working in Zonal Railways/Production Units must get their applications forwarded through the Railway Board.

Age Limit

• You should be below 57 years of age as on the date of notification (30 July 2026).

Salary

• This post carries Junior Scale, RPF Officer pay at Level-10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix (Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 under the pre-revised structure), starting from Rs. 56,100 per month.
• The selected officer will draw the pay admissible on the Railways, plus a deputation (duty) allowance and other admissible allowances as per Railway Board rules.

Selection Process

Since this is a deputation posting, there is no written exam. Selection happens through the following process:

1. Application Screening: KRCL and the Railway Board will check your eligibility, seniority and service record.
2. Deputation Approval: Eligible and sponsored officers will be considered for deputation based on suitability.
