The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has released Advertisement No. ICSR/PR/Advt.59/2026 for 2 Software Developer posts in the Office of IC&SR, one of the country's most prestigious technical institutions. The position is on a contract basis for one year, extendable based on performance. Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Degree: B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science) or an equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognised university
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in ADO.NET / ASP.NET (C#) / .NET MVC Framework

Technical Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (Angular 12+ or React), HTML, and CSS
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL — joins, indexing, query optimization, stored procedures
• Working experience with Python for backend services or data processing
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Version control with Git and basic DevOps knowledge
• Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio 2019, VS Code, and ORM tools (Entity Framework or similar)
• Experience on both Windows and Linux environments

Good to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools handling
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis tools
• Knowledge of mobile application development and API integration
• Experience in enterprise or ERP-based applications
• Good communication and documentation skills

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month
• Actual pay within this range will be decided based on your experience

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and experience mentioned in their online application
