Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), one of India's premier management institutions established under the Ministry of Education, has invited online applications for 2 Software Engineer (.NET) positions on a contract basis (Notification No. C-18/2026-IIMK.HR). These positions are in the IT department of the institute, and you will work on building and maintaining web applications and software systems using the .NET technology stack. Who Can Apply?

Category A (2 Years Experience):

• Qualification: B.Tech / BE / MCA / M.Sc / M.Tech (CS/CE/IT/ECE/EE) or MS in Software Systems or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Software Development, IT System Projects, Website Development, or Mobile Application Development

Category B (3 Years Experience):

• Qualification: BCA / B.Sc (CS/CE/IT/ECE/EE) / Three-year full-time Diploma in (CS/CE/IT/ECE/EE) or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Software Development, IT System Projects, Website Development, or Mobile Application Development

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in .NET framework and related technologies
• Experience with MS-SQL database management
• Hands-on experience with application development stacks

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as on the date of notification
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates may be applicable as per Government of India norms

Salary

• Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 35,300 per month (including telephone allowance)
• This salary is aligned with 7th CPC standards for contractual positions

Selection Process

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Practical Test / Interview: You will be assessed on your technical skills in .NET development and related technologies through a practical coding test and/or interview
2. Certificate Verification: Your educational certificates, experience letters, and identity documents will be verified before final selection
