Who Can Apply?

• Essential qualification: Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) from a recognized university with First Class.
• Recent degree condition: You must have completed MLISc within the last 3 years, specifically in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
• Communication: Strong proficiency in English communication is required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in a reputed institute such as IIM, IIT, NIT, IISER, or similar.

Preferred Profile

• Degree preference: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Management is preferred.
• Exam preference: UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, SET, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Research preference: At least 1 research paper published in a reputed national or international journal or conference proceedings is preferred.
• Library system skill: Working knowledge of KOHA or any Integrated Library Management System is preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: The upper age limit is 30 years.
• Reference date: Age is counted as on the date of notification, 20 April 2026.

Salary

• Monthly salary: The consolidated salary is Rs. 28,300 per month.
• Allowance included: The amount includes telephone allowance of Rs. 300 per month.

Selection Process
