The Indian Institute of Management Indore, a premier autonomous institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is filling this vacancy through its IIM Indore Incubation Foundation — a Section 8 Company set up to support innovation and entrepreneurship. The Foundation provides mentoring, infrastructure, and investor networks to help startups grow. This role is based at the IIM Indore campus in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The appointment will be made at either the Manager or Assistant Manager level depending on your qualifications and experience. Total vacancies: 1.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• MTech/MBA/PGDM or an equivalent master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or Entrepreneurship from a recognized institute
• Relevant experience in technology commercialization, supporting incubators, and assessment/evaluation of startup projects
• Experience in the startup ecosystem is preferred
• Must have worked in a reputed incubator/accelerator performing similar tasks
• Experience with academic incubators attached to educational institutions is preferred
• Experience in administering programs and grants from government sources such as RABI, TIDE, DST, AIM, MeitY, SISFS, State Governments, Corporate CSR, etc.

Experience

• Manager: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Assistant Manager: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Age Limit

• You must be below 45 years as of the date of application

Salary

• Manager: Up to Rs 1,00,000 per month (consolidated)
• Assistant Manager: Up to Rs 75,000 per month (consolidated)

This is a consolidated pay with no additional allowances or benefits during the contract period.

Important Dates

• Select and onboard entrepreneurs, industry projects, and startup ventures as per the defined incubation process
• Manage day-to-day operations of the incubator by coordinating with Foundation operations, finance, marketing, and other team members
• Organize workshops, hackathons, and events regularly as part of incubator operations
• Establish working relationships with IIM Indore faculty, Foundation stakeholders, investors, mentors, and service providers to support startup ventures
• Prepare and submit funding applications from Government, Corporate/CSR, and other sources; manage and administer grants/donations received
• Prepare and manage the operating budget for incubation and startup support programs
• Work towards startup community mobilization and outreach to relevant ecosystem stakeholders
• Handle internal and external communication including media interactions as needed for the program
