IIFM Stenographer Grade II Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), an autonomous academic institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, is hiring a Stenographer Grade II for its campus in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This is a direct recruitment for a regular administrative staff position, so you join the institute's own office staff rather than a project. The skill test is fully computer-based and in English — if you take dictation in English and type it out on a computer, this post fits you well.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Skill test format: Dictation and transcription are in English only, and the transcription is done only on a computer.
• Experience counts: Your relevant experience can come from a government office or a reputed private organisation.
• Shortlisting: IIFM screens applications on the essential qualification and experience. Only shortlisted candidates are called for the written test and skill test, and meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a call.
• Serving employees: If you work in a Central or State Government office, a PSU or an autonomous body, send a hard copy of your application through proper channel to the Chief Administrative Officer, IIFM — and apply online as well.
• Canvassing: Any kind of canvassing leads to disqualification.
• Right to fill: IIFM may choose not to fill the post.
