HLL Lifecare Limited (a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) is hiring Pharmacist and Assistant Pharmacist staff for its AMRIT Pharmacies and Jana Sanjivini Generic Drug Stores across Bengaluru and Hassan in Karnataka. If you have a D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree, you can simply walk in on 04 May 2026 at NIMHANS Hospital, Bengaluru — no online application needed. Maximum age is 37 years as on 01 May 2026. The role is on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
HLL Lifecare Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 — 5 Position Categories
The Retail Business Division (RBD) of HLL Lifecare runs the AMRIT Pharmacy at NIMHANS Hospital in Bengaluru and Jana Sanjivini Generic Drug Stores at KC General Hospital, Sri Chamarajendra Hospital (Hassan), Victoria Hospital and CV Raman Hospital. This walk-in is to staff those outlets with pharmacists at five experience levels — from freshers (Assistant Pharmacist) to experienced retail pharmacy professionals with 8+ years at Grade I.
Vacancy Breakdown

- Assistant Pharmacist — Freshers eligible
- Pharmacist Grade IV — Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience

- Pharmacy Council Registration: You must hold a valid Karnataka State Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate (mandatory for the pharmacy outlet licence).
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 37 years as on 01 May 2026.
- Age relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get relaxation as per Government of India directives.
- The crucial date for both age and experience is the same cut-off (01 May 2026).
Salary
- The notification does not publish a fixed salary figure — pay is grade-linked and decided at offer stage on the Fixed Tenure Contract.
- You should bring your latest salary certificate with break-up to the walk-in for negotiation reference.

Selection Process

- Interview: Personal interview with the selection panel for shortlisted candidates.
Only candidates with the relevant qualification and experience will be permitted to attend the written test.

Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately at AMRIT and JSGDS retail outlets.
- Verify prescriptions and counsel patients on dosage, side effects and storage.
- Maintain stock registers, batch records and expiry tracking for all medicines.
- Handle billing, cash and digital payments at the pharmacy counter.
- Follow Drugs and Cosmetics Act rules and Pharmacy Council guidelines on every transaction.
- Coordinate with hospital staff at NIMHANS, KC General, Victoria, CV Raman and Sri Chamarajendra Hospitals for medicine indents.
- Assist senior pharmacists with stock audits, returns and supplier coordination.
