FACT Design and Estimation Recruitment 2026

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) is a Schedule A Central PSU with work in fertilisers, chemicals, engineering design, consultancy, and fabrication. This notification is for temporary contract engagement in FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO) or other FACT/FEDO projects. No fixed number of vacancies is mentioned; FACT will prepare post-wise panels and engage people based on project requirements and reservation rules.

Who Can Apply?

Draughtsman and Senior Draughtsman Posts

• Qualification: Diploma in the relevant branch such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• Experience: Draughtsman posts need 1, 2, 3, or 5 years of relevant design/drafting experience. Senior Draughtsman needs 8 or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Software Skills: AutoCAD or relevant CAD/design software experience is required as per the post.

Engineer, Manager, and AGM Posts

• Qualification: Degree in the relevant engineering branch such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Petrochemical, or related approved discipline.
• Experience: Engineer posts need 1 to 3 years, Deputy Manager needs 5 years, Senior Manager needs 8 or 10 years, and Assistant General Manager needs 12 or 15 years.
• Course Type: Only full-time regular qualifications will be considered. Part-time, correspondence, distance, private study, or off-campus courses are not accepted.
• Recognition: Qualifications should be approved or recognised by UGC, AICTE, or AIU, as applicable.

Age Limit

• Draughtsman, Engineer, and Deputy Manager: Maximum age 35 years as on 1 May 2026.
• Senior Draughtsman and Senior Manager: Maximum age 45 years as on 1 May 2026.
• Assistant General Manager: Maximum age 50 years as on 1 May 2026.
• Relaxation: Age relaxation for reserved posts will be given as per Government directives.

Salary

• Draughtsman: Rs. 25,750 to Rs. 36,770 per month, based on experience level.
• Senior Draughtsman: Rs. 31,700 to Rs. 42,660 per month.
• Engineer Design / Estimation: Rs. 35,520 to Rs. 47,120 per month.
• Deputy Manager Design / Estimation: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month.
• Senior Manager Design / Estimation: Rs. 43,720 to Rs. 57,980 per month.
• Assistant General Manager Design / Estimation: Rs. 49,240 to Rs. 67,240 per month.
• Higher consolidated pay can be considered for higher relevant experience, subject to the maximum pay shown in the notification.
• Annual increase of 3%, leave, PF, ESI / accident insurance, and TA/DA for official travel may apply as per company rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

FACT will prepare separate merit lists for posts and categories. The selection method depends on the post group.

1. Skill Test: Draughtsman and Senior Draughtsman posts under post codes 1 to 6 will have a practical skill test in engineering drafting software.
2. Interview: Engineer, Deputy Manager, Senior Manager, and Assistant General Manager posts under post codes 7 to 34 will be selected based on interview marks.
3. Document Verification: FACT will verify qualification, experience, caste/EWS/PwBD, apprenticeship, and identity documents.
4. Medical Examination: Engagement is subject to being declared medically fit by the company medical officer.
