GSPL GTL Manager and Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

GSPL Transmission Limited (GTL), the company earlier known as Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL), is hiring experienced professionals at Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Officer and Officer levels. GTL lays and runs high-pressure cross-country gas pipelines and has built a gas grid of about 2,800 km across Gujarat.

The company has also gone pan-India through its joint ventures GIGL and GITL, and this drive fills posts for GTL and its JV company GIGL. This is a lateral-hiring drive for people already working in the field — freshers cannot apply. Openings are spread over four functions: Projects, Finance & Accounts, SAP and Secretarial.

Posts and Disciplines

• Projects (Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Officer, Officer): for engineers from Mechanical, Electrical, E&C, IC, Civil, HSE or Fire & Safety backgrounds with hydrocarbon-sector work, including hands-on gas or product pipeline experience.
• Finance & Accounts (Senior Officer): for finance professionals with a Masters in Finance or CA who work in SAP FICO; knowing Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• SAP (Manager, Assistant Manager): for IT, E&C or Computer engineers and BCA holders who have done SAP consulting or support, including end-to-end SAP ECC / HANA implementations; SAP-ABAP and SAP-FICO certification is preferred.
• Secretarial (Manager, Assistant Manager): for qualified Company Secretaries who have handled corporate secretarial and compliance work for a listed company only.

Post-wise Duties

Projects

You will coordinate the PMC, TPI agencies and EPC contractors building the pipelines, review drawings, chase vendors for long-lead items, and supervise site construction against quality and HSE norms. The role also covers RoU work with landowners and district officials, permits under PNGRB and PESO rules, MIS and site reports, and safety audits, risk assessments and ERP/DMP updates for cross-country pipelines.

Finance & Accounts

You will handle financial analysis and reporting on the SAP FICO module and look after financial master data.

SAP

You will support and improve the company's SAP ECC / HANA systems and work on implementation projects.

Secretarial

You will manage corporate secretarial and compliance matters for the company.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: Positions are offered on a regular or long-term contract basis.
• Pay: The notice gives no pay scale; it says pay will be in line with industry standards.
• Pipeline experience: For Projects posts, part of your hydrocarbon-sector experience must be in gas or product pipelines; general oil and gas work alone is not enough.
• Listed-company rule: Secretarial applicants must have their compliance experience with a listed entity only.
• Work base: GTL is headquartered at GTL Bhavan, GIDC Electronics Estate, Sector-26, Gandhinagar, and its pipelines run across Gujarat.
