Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad (NIT-3) has released an advertisement for 39 Senior Resident posts across super-specialty departments including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care Medicine, Neonatology, Neurosurgery, Medical Oncology and more. The selection is by walk-in interview only — there is no written exam. The contract is for an initial period of one year, extendable up to three years subject to satisfactory performance.

• Anaesthesiology with Surgical Super Speciality: 3 posts (1 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Cardiology: 4 posts (2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Cardiothoracic Surgery: 3 posts (1 OBC, 1 ST, 1 EWS)
• Critical Care Medicine: 4 posts (1 UR, 2 OBC, 1 EWS*)
• Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology: 2 posts (1 UR, 1 SC)
• Endocrinology & Metabolism: 1 post (1 SC)
• Medical Gastroenterology: 2 posts (1 UR, 1 OBC*)
• Medical Oncology: 5 posts (3 UR, 2 EWS)
• Neonatology: 3 posts (1 UR, 1 SC, 1 EWS)
• Nephrology: 4 posts (1+1* OBC, 2 SC)
• Neurology: 2 posts (1 OBC, 1 SC)
• Neurosurgery: 5 posts (3 UR, 2 ST)

*The unreserved Senior Residents are currently working against reserved category posts. The interview for those posts will be conducted only when candidates from the respective reserved category will appear.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in the relevant super-specialty as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI) guidelines.
• Preferred Qualification: MCh/DM/DrNB/FNB in the concerned super-specialty. If super-specialty Senior Residents are not available, candidates from the parent Broad Specialty will be considered.
• Medical Registration: You must have an up-to-date registration with NMC or the State Medical Council. If not yet received, bring the "Applied for" copy at the time of interview.
• NOC: Candidates currently working in Government, Autonomous or Statutory institutions must bring an NOC from their employer, or at least an "Applied for NOC" copy.

Age Limit

• Your age should be not exceeding 45 years as on the date of Walk-in Interview (22 May 2026).
• Age relaxation is as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.

Salary

• Consolidated pay equals to Rs. 1,48,669 per month as on the date of advertisement.
• The pay is governed by ESIC Headquarters Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022, or any subsequent orders issued by the Headquarters Office.
• Hostel accommodation or quarters will be provided to the extent possible. If availed, HRA will not be paid and the licence fee will be deducted.
• No Service Benefits: You will not be entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority or Promotion.

Application Fee

• SC / ST / ESIC Regular Employee / Female Candidate / PH Candidate: No fee
• All Other categories: Rs. 500
• Payment Mode: Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1" payable at Faridabad.
• Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on walk-in interview. The process has these stages:

1. Document Verification: Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified by the Document Verification Committee will be allowed to appear before the Interview Board.
2. Walk-in Interview: Conducted by a duly constituted selection board based on acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview.

Reporting Time: 9 AM to 10 AM on 22 May 2026.

Venue: Faculty Reading Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad.

Result will be published only in the Recruitments section of www.esic.gov.in. Offer of appointment will be sent through E-mail only.

How to Apply

1. Download the offline application form attached with the official advertisement from esic.gov.in.
2. Fill in the application form completely with all required details.
3. Prepare a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1" payable at Faridabad (skip if you are exempted).
4. Self-attest copies of all required documents listed in Clause (J) of the advertisement.
5. Walk in to the Faculty Reading Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad on 22 May 2026 between 9 AM and 10 AM.
6. Submit the application form and documents for verification before the interview. Apply separately for each post if you wish to be considered for more than one department.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview or submission of any document.

• Provide patient care in the assigned super-specialty department under the supervision of consultants
• Handle ward duties, OPDs, emergencies and assist in surgical or interventional procedures
• Maintain patient records, case sheets and discharge summaries as per hospital protocols
• Work in shifts including night duties, on-call duties and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Participate in clinical case discussions, departmental meetings and teaching sessions for junior residents
• Follow ESIC and NMC guidelines, hospital infection-control protocols and biomedical waste rules
• Mark daily attendance through both manual register and the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS)
• Do not engage in any private practice during the tenure of this contract
