Who Can Apply?
Teaching and Special Education Posts
- TGT Computer Science: You need BCA, Computer Science graduation, B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, or graduation with DOEACC 'A' level course.
- Domestic Science Teacher: You need a Domestic Science/Home Science degree with B.Ed in the same teaching subject.
- TGT Special Education Teacher: You need graduation plus B.Ed/Special Education qualification, CTET Elementary Stage and RCI registration.
- Special Educator Primary: You need 12th pass plus D.Ed/Diploma or another RCI-approved special education qualification, CTET Primary Stage and RCI registration.
Scientific, IT and Technical Posts
- Junior Scientific Assistant: You need a Master's degree or B.E./B.Tech in the relevant science, forensic science, biotechnology, computer science, physics, chemistry or related subject listed for that discipline.
- I.T. Assistant Grade-A: You need 12th pass from a recognised board or equivalent.
- Data Processing / Data Entry posts: You need a degree or computer engineering/digital electronics diploma with typing/data-entry speed where required.
- Technical trade posts: You need matric/10th or higher secondary with ITI/trade certificate; some posts also need practical experience.
Age Limit
- Most Junior Scientific Assistant and Electrical Overseer posts need age between 18 and 27 years.
- Several Group B teaching and archives posts have a maximum age of 30 years.
- NDMC trade posts vary from 18 to 37 years depending on the post code; Fitter Grade-II is 20 to 32 years.
- Cut-off date: age, qualification and experience are counted as on 15 July 2026.
- Relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years, OBC get 3 years, PwBD get 10 years, and other categories get relaxation as per the DSSSB table.
Salary
- Teaching Group B posts: Pay Level 7, Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month.
- Special Educator Primary, Technical Assistant, Assistant Archivist and Data Processing posts: Pay Level 6, Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
- Junior Scientific Assistant, Data Entry Operator and Electrical Overseer: Pay Level 5, Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month.
- I.T. Assistant Grade-A: Pay Level 4, Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
- Lift Operator, Assistant Operator and Sub Station Apprentice: Pay Level 2, Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
- You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Delhi/Central government rules for the post.

Selection Process
DSSSB will select candidates through a computer based one-tier examination. The exam pattern depends on the post code, and DSSSB may also take a skill test, trade test, physical test or aptitude test wherever the post requires it.
- One Tier General Exam: For post codes 34/26, 39/26 and 40/26, the CBT has 200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours.
- One Tier Technical Exam: For post codes 21/26 to 33/26, 35/26 to 38/26 and 45/26, Section A has general subjects and Section B has the subject related to your post.
- One Tier Technical / Teaching Exam: For post codes 41/26 to 44/26, the exam includes general subjects plus the teaching/subject section.
- Skill or trade test: DSSSB may conduct skill, trade, driving, physical or aptitude tests as required by the post.
- Document Verification: Your certificates, category documents and eligibility proof will be checked before final nomination.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Post-wise qualification ranges from Matric/10th with ITI/trade certificate to 12th, diploma, graduation, B.Ed/Special Education, CTET/RCI registration, or PG degree in the relevant subject.
Preferred Qualification
Hindi at secondary level for Domestic Science Teacher; post-specific desirable qualifications are nil unless stated in the advertisement.
Required Skills
Post-wise teaching skills, forensic/science subject knowledge, IT/computer skills, data entry speed, trade skills, CTET/RCI registration where applicable.

Age Relaxation:

Salary & Compensation
Pay Scale
Pay Levels 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7; most posts range from Rs. 19,900-63,200 to Rs. 44,900-1,42,400. Fitter Grade-II is listed in pre-revised Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1,900.
Allowances
DA, HRA and other allowances as applicable under Delhi/Central Government rules.

Exam Pattern
The DSSSB Advertisement 03/2026 exam is a computer based one-tier test of 200 questions for 200 marks. The duration is 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark, and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong MCQ answer.
One Tier General Posts
- Post Codes: 34/26, 39/26 and 40/26
- Subjects: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi Language and English Language
- Marks: 40 marks each, total 200 marks
One Tier Technical Posts
