Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is filling the Deputy Chief Legal Advisor post in New Delhi through deputation. Personnel Branch I has issued an extension to the original vacancy circular, while keeping its other terms unchanged. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Deputation tenure: The initial term is three years. It can be extended annually up to five years under Department of Personnel and Training guidelines; an extension is not automatic.
• Early termination: DDA can end the deputation before the original or extended term is complete. You should take this condition into account when considering a move from your parent organisation.
• Comparable duties: The responsibilities of your regular cadre post must be comparable to those of the deputation post. Your parent department must check the information you provide against its records.
• Substantive appointment: DDA considers your substantive post and its scale. Show personal financial upgrades separately, so they are not confused with the regular appointment on which your candidature depends.
• Different pay structures: If your organisation does not follow Central Government scales, the application must clearly identify the comparable Central Government structure.
• Existing deputation: If you are already serving outside your parent cadre on deputation, your parent cadre or department must forward your application. The form asks for your parent organisation and substantive appointment details.
• Release on selection: The employer’s certification includes a commitment to release you immediately if selected. Discuss the proposed move with the authority responsible for forwarding your application.
