Who Can Apply?

For Electrical and Electronics Engineering:

• You need a B.E./B.Tech/B.S and M.E./M.Tech/M.S or Integrated M.Tech in a relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees (as prescribed by AICTE).

For Safety and Fire Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Civil/Safety):

• You need a B.Tech/B.E. in the matching engineering branch (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, or Safety and Fire Engineering) and an M.Tech/M.E. in the same branch or in Industrial Safety, with First Class or equivalent in either degree.
• Desirable (not mandatory): a Government-approved Diploma in Industrial Safety, plus 2 years of experience in industry, research, or UG/PG-level teaching in Safety and Fire Engineering.

For Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering:

• You need a B.E./B.Tech/B.S and M.E./M.Tech/M.S or Integrated M.Tech in a relevant branch with First Class, OR one of these specific combinations: B.Tech(CS)+M.Tech(IT), B.Tech(CS)+M.Tech(CS), B.Tech(IT)+M.Tech(CS), or B.Tech(IT)+M.Tech(IT).

For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Environmental Science (CUCEK):

• You need a Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant/allied subject, plus NET/SLET/SET qualification.
• You are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if you hold a PhD awarded under UGC (Minimum Standards) Regulations 2009/2016, subject to conditions like a regular-mode PhD, evaluation by two external examiners, an open viva voce, and at least two research papers published from your PhD work.

For Master of Computer Application:

• You need a B.E./B.Tech/B.S and M.E./M.Tech/M.S or Integrated M.Tech in a relevant branch with First Class, OR B.E./B.Tech and MCA with First Class in either degree, OR a 3-year graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject plus MCA (First Class) and 2 years of relevant experience after your MCA.

Salary

• You will get a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 47,000 if you hold a PhD, or Rs. 45,000 if you don't, effective from 1 July 2026.
• This is a tenure-basis contract post with a fixed consolidated remuneration, not a regular UGC/AICTE pay scale appointment.
• You become eligible for gratuity under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 after completing 5 years of continuous service.
