Kerala HC Part-time Sevak Recruitment 2026: Overview

The High Court of Kerala is preparing a list of Part-time Sevaks to meet its service needs. People on this list are nominated by individual Judges and work at the official residence of that Judge, helping with household upkeep, errands and hospitality. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nomination, not appointment: Getting your name on the list does not give you any right to be engaged. Selection is solely at the discretion of the Judge who nominates you.
• Tenure tied to the Judge: Your engagement runs only as long as the nominating Judge holds office, and ends automatically when that Judge ceases to be a Judge of the High Court of Kerala.
• Termination: The Chief Justice can end the engagement at any time without notice, on the Judge's recommendation or for any other reason.
• Work as directed: You must be willing to work as the Judge directs at the residence.
• Age reference: Your age is checked as on 1 January of the year in which a Judge nominates you, not on the closing date.
• Clean record: The application form includes a declaration that you have never been convicted and have no case pending in any police station or criminal court.
• Rules: Service conditions follow the Kerala High Court Sevak Rules, 2017.
• Originals on demand: If you cannot produce original proof of address, age and qualification when asked, your candidature is cancelled.

Application Submission Notes

Fill in the application form given as the Annexure in the notice, attach a passport-size photo and self-attested copies proving your address, age and qualification, and send it by post or by hand to The Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam - 682 031. Write "Application for the post of Part-time Sevak" on the envelope. Any one of Passport, Election ID card, Aadhaar or Driving Licence is accepted as address proof. Incomplete or late applications, or those without the required documents, are rejected.
