Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Company Secretary Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released Advertisement No. BSNLCO-11/12(11)/4/2026-RECTT-CO, dated 27 July 2026, to fill 1 Company Secretary post at the Executive (DGM level) grade through Direct Recruitment. The role is based at the BSNL Corporate Office in New Delhi, though you may be transferred anywhere in India during emergencies. Once selected, you will become part of BSNL Management Services and will serve a probation period of 2 years as a direct recruit. The current age of superannuation for this post is 60 years. Selected candidates must execute a bond of Rs. 7.5 lakhs to serve BSNL for at least 5 years from the date of appointment.

Who Can Apply?

• Membership: You must be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
• Experience: You need 15 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field, including at least 2 years as a full-fledged Company Secretary at the executive level.
• Nature of Experience: Your experience should cover statutory and corporate secretarial work such as conducting Board meetings and AGMs, maintaining statutory registers, preparing agendas and minutes, and ensuring compliance under the Companies Act, 2013.
• Organization Background: You should have worked in a Central/State Government body, an Autonomous organization, a PSU, or a reputed listed company with an annual turnover of Rs. 200 Crores or more.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree in Law or a higher law qualification.
• Disqualification: You are not eligible for this post if you have a living spouse and have contracted another marriage, or vice versa, unless the Appointing Authority is satisfied that the marriage is permissible under your personal law.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 40 years as on the closing date of the application (14 August 2026).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates can apply up to 45 years, and OBC candidates up to 43 years.
• PwBD Relaxation: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities get 10 extra years (15 years for SC/ST-PwBD, 13 years for OBC-PwBD), but your age cannot exceed 56 years on the crucial date.

Salary

• You will get a salary of Rs. 32,900 to Rs. 58,000 per month under the E5 IDA Scale (DGM level).
• You will also get DA and other allowances as per BSNL rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Eligibility Screening: BSNL will shortlist candidates based on age, educational qualification, post-qualification experience, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current employer.
2. Interview: A maximum of 10 shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by the High Level Interview Board.
