Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued Advertisement No. BSNLCO-11/12(12)/1/2026-RECTT-CO, dated 27 July 2026, inviting applications from advocates and law firms for empanelment at its Corporate Office in New Delhi. Empanelled legal professionals will represent BSNL in ongoing and future matters before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), and other statutory or quasi-judicial bodies. This is a professional empanelment and not a regular salaried job — advocates and firms on the panel are briefed and paid case by case as per the Schedule of Fee mentioned in the notification. Who Can Apply?

• Advocates: You should be a practicing advocate enrolled with a Bar Council, with experience appearing before the Supreme Court, High Courts, or TDSAT.
• Law Firms: Registered law firms with a track record of handling litigation before these forums can also apply.
• Detailed eligibility conditions and empanelment criteria are listed in Annexure A (Guidelines and Instructions) and Annexure B (Terms & Conditions) of the official notification.
• You must submit your Bio-Data in the format given in Annexure III of the notification.
• You can apply as an advocate or as a law firm, but you must apply separately with the correct fee for each category you are applying under.

Application Fee

• Advocate applicants: Rs. 500 (non-refundable)
• Law Firm applicants: Rs. 1,000 (non-refundable)
• Payment mode: Online only, through Internet Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
• The fee, once paid, is not refunded under any circumstances and cannot be adjusted against any other selection.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

BSNL does not conduct a written test or interview for this empanelment. Instead, your application goes through a scrutiny process:

1. Application Scrutiny: Your online registration form and Bio-Data (Annexure III) are checked against the eligibility conditions in Annexures A and B.
2. Document Verification: Your Bar Council enrolment (for advocates) or firm registration and case experience (for law firms) are verified.
3. Empanelment: Advocates and law firms who meet the eligibility conditions are added to the BSNL panel for the Corporate Office, New Delhi.

BSNL can reject your application at any stage if the information you submit is found to be false or misleading. There is no fixed panel size mentioned in the notification — BSNL will empanel as many eligible advocates and law firms as it needs ("As per Requirement").
