BRIC-NABI Multi-Post Recruitment 2026 - 7 Posts

BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 6 of 2026 to fill 7 temporary research positions across five ongoing research projects covering plant biotechnology, banana biofortification, rice microbiome, and genome editing. Most posts require a walk-in interview, and some also allow an online interview — check the specific project note before applying. These are project-funded positions ideal for life sciences and biotechnology candidates looking for hands-on research experience.

Each project is led by a different Principal Investigator at NABI, and the posts are spread across multiple ongoing government-funded studies — from developing genome-edited rice varieties to engineering rice microbiomes for sustainable agriculture, and improving the nutrition of banana crops through biofortification. If you are looking to build a research career in agricultural biotechnology, this notification offers entry points at several qualification levels, from lab support roles to postdoctoral research positions.
