All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bathinda has released Notification No. AIIMS/BTI/RC/ATF/2367 dated 16 July 2026 for 3 contractual posts under the Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF). This facility was set up under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), funded by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, and is coordinated by the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS New Delhi. The engagement is initially for one year and may be extended based on performance, project continuation, and fund availability. This is a good opportunity to work in de-addiction and mental health services at a premier government medical institute.

Who Can Apply?

For Counsellor (Rs. 56,100/month):

• You need an M.A. or M.Sc. in Psychology with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology
• You must have at least 2 years of experience after your M.Phil.
• Age Limit: Between 21 and 35 years

For Data Manager (Rs. 21,000/month):

• You need a Graduate Degree in any discipline with a one-year diploma in Computer Application, OR a Graduate Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• Preferred Higher Qualification: A Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Age Limit: Up to 60 years

Age Limit

• Your age is calculated as on the last date of application, 5 August 2026.
• Counsellor: You should be between 21 and 35 years old.
• Data Manager: You can be up to 60 years old.
• Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD).
• No age relaxation is available for reserved-category candidates applying for these unreserved (UR) posts.

Salary

• Counsellor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 56,100 per month.
• Data Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 21,000 per month.
• This is a consolidated pay package — no annual increment, DA, HRA, or TA is admissible unless specifically approved by the funding agency.
