BESCOM Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has invited online applications for 520 Apprentice posts. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates and diploma holders from Karnataka to get practical training in the electricity supply sector. The training is for 1 year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Who Can Apply?

• You must belong to Karnataka state
• You must be able to read and write Kannada
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Your degree or diploma must be completed on or after January 2021
• Freshers only - candidates who have already done apprenticeship or have more than 1 year of work experience cannot apply

Qualification Needed

• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or Institution in Karnataka
• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.B.A./B.C.A./B.B.M./B.E./B.Tech (other than E&E) from a recognized University or Institution in Karnataka
• Diploma Apprentice: 3-year Diploma from any branch from a Polytechnic College or Institution in Karnataka

Vacancy Details - Total 520 Posts

Stipend

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,008 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000 per month
• No TA/DA or other allowances
• Training duration is 1 year

Selection Process

No written exam and no interview. Selection is purely based on merit.

1. Merit List: Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) will prepare shortlist based on qualifying exam marks
2. Document Verification: 23rd to 25th March 2026
3. Medical Exam: Medical fitness exam required
