There is no written or oral exam — selection is purely on academic merit. All teaching is in English medium, so you must have studied your qualification in English medium (except for Hindi and Sanskrit Lecturer posts). Who Can Apply?

Lecturer (Vyakhyata) — Rs. 38,100/month

• Master's degree (at least 2nd class) in the relevant subject (Physics/Maths/Chemistry) plus B.Ed from a recognised university.

Teacher (Shikshak) — Rs. 35,400/month

• Graduation (at least 45% marks) with the relevant subject plus B.Ed.
• Must have passed TET (Upper Primary / Pre-Secondary level).

PT Teacher (Vyayam Shikshak) — Rs. 35,400/month

• Graduation plus B.P.Ed, or higher secondary plus D.P.Ed/B.P.Ed.

Computer Teacher — Rs. 35,400/month

• Graduation (at least 2nd class) in Computer Science / IT / Computer Application.

Head Teacher Primary (Pradhan Pathak) — Rs. 35,400/month

• Graduation (2nd class) plus D.Ed/D.El.Ed. Must have passed TET (Primary level).

Assistant Teacher (Sahayak Shikshak) — Rs. 25,300/month

• Higher Secondary (12th, at least 45%) plus D.Ed/D.El.Ed. Must have passed TET (Primary level).

Other Requirements

• You must have studied your qualification in English medium (except Hindi/Sanskrit Lecturer posts, where English medium from Class 10 onwards is not mandatory).
• You must be an original resident (domicile) of Chhattisgarh — a residence certificate from a competent authority is mandatory.

Age Limit

• You must be between 21 and 35 years as on 1 January 2026.
• SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer): up to 5 years relaxation in upper age.
• Women candidates: up to 10 years relaxation (as per CG rules 1997).
• PwD candidates: relaxation as per General Administration Department rules.
• All Chhattisgarh residents: an extra 5 years relaxation, making the maximum age 40 years.

Salary

• Lecturer (Vyakhyata): Rs. 38,100 per month (consolidated)
• Teacher / PT Teacher / Computer Teacher / Librarian / Head Teacher: Rs. 35,400 per month (consolidated)
• Assistant Teacher (incl. Lab): Rs. 25,300 per month (consolidated)
• This is a fixed monthly amount only. No DA, HRA, or other allowances are paid, and there is no annual increment under the contract.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is fully merit-based. There is no written or oral exam.

1. Academic Merit Score (out of 100): Marks from 10th, 12th, Graduation, and Post-Graduation are weighted by post. For example, Lecturer = 12th (20) + Graduation (30) + PG (50); Teacher = 10th (20) + 12th (30) + Graduation (50); Assistant Teacher = 10th (40) + 12th (60).
2. Document Verification: Only 10 candidates per vacant post (by merit) are called for document verification. Bring all original certificates.
3. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on the academic merit score. A waiting list stays valid for 1 year.
