MPEZ Jabalpur, a power distribution company under the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board, has invited applications for 72 apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act 1961. The training runs for 1 year across the Corporate Office Jabalpur and regional offices in Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa and Shahdol. This is a training opportunity, not a permanent job — it gives engineering and commerce graduates real hands-on experience in a power utility.

Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Apprentice (Stipend Rs. 12,300/month):

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, IT or Computer Science Engineering from a government-recognised college, OR
• B.Com from a government-recognised college

For Technical (Diploma) Apprentice (Stipend Rs. 10,900/month):

• Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a government-recognised college

• Year of Passing: You must have passed your degree or diploma between 2022 and 2026 (within the last 5 years).
• Domicile: You must be a domicile (original resident) of Madhya Pradesh.
• NATS Registration: You must have a valid apprentice registration on the NATS portal.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years for all categories.
• Maximum age for General candidates: 30 years (as on 01 January 2026).
• Age Relaxation: SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons with Disability get 5 years relaxation in upper age.

Salary (Stipend)

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300 per month
• Technical (Diploma) Apprentice: Rs. 10,900 per month
• No other allowances or benefits are payable apart from this stipend.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam. Selection is based on merit:

1. Application Screening: All applications received before the deadline are checked for eligibility.
2. Merit List: Candidates are ranked on the percentage of marks in their B.E/B.Tech, B.Com or Diploma. If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate is preferred.
3. Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to a medical fitness certificate issued by the District Medical Officer.

A waiting list may also be used. The merit list stays valid for one year from the date of the first result.

How to Apply

1. Register yourself on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in and complete your apprentice profile.
2. Download the application form from the MPEZ website mpez.co.in.
3. Fill the form and attach self-attested copies of your 10th, 12th, degree/diploma marksheets, domicile certificate, caste/income certificate (if applicable), photo ID and NATS enrolment number.
4. Send the completed application by post or submit it in person to: Office of the Chief General Manager (Training), Central Training Institute, SPB-2, Nayagaon, Jabalpur (M.P.) - 482008.
5. Make sure it reaches by 5:30 PM on 25 June 2026.

• Attend full training at the assigned office without seeking transfer
• Apply classroom knowledge to real on-the-job situations
