BEL Advisor (NCS SBU) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for 1 Advisor post in the Research & Development category for its Network Centric Systems (NCS) Strategic Business Unit at the Ghaziabad Complex. The Advisor will work on theatrisation, network centric warfare, and multi-domain integration for the Indian Armed Forces. This role is open only to retired senior officers with hands-on experience in defence operations, trials, and product introductions at unit and HQ levels. The initial engagement is for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 8 years or till the age of 68, whichever comes first.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must be a retired senior officer from a Government department, PSU, or Research Organization/Lab.
• Pay Level: You must have retired at Pay Level 14 and above (7th CPC) from your previous organization.
• Experience Areas: You need expertise in at least one of the following:
  1. Theatrisation and Network Centric Warfare
  2. Integrated Defence Forces operations
  3. Network-enabled multi-domain integration
• Cross-Domain Experience: You should have worked across multiple units and handled operations, trials, training, and validations of equipment at unit/HQ levels in the Armed Forces.
• Mega Project: You must have executed at least one mega project during your service.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Confidentiality: Candidates who are bound by a Confidentiality-cum-Non-Compete agreement with their previous employer are not eligible.
• Vigilance Clearance: You must be clear from Vigilance/Disciplinary angle at the time of retirement.

Note: Relaxation in eligibility criteria may be considered for exceptional candidates, subject to management approval.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 65 years as on 01 April 2026.
• Post-retirement experience in other organizations may also be considered for age relaxation.
• The engagement period can extend up to age 68 at the maximum.

Salary

• Your salary will be the last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation from your previous Government organization.
• Pay Level 14 basic pay ranges from Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month under the 7th CPC.
• If the engagement is extended, your salary will be increased by 5% annually on the last drawn amount (excluding conveyance).
• Post-retirement experience in relevant organizations can enhance the last drawn pay by an additional 5% per year.
• Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 8,000 per month (if company car is not used).
• TA/DA: Entitled for official journeys within India as per BEL scale of pay equivalent to your grade at the time of superannuation.
• Accommodation: Guest House accommodation during official visits, or hotel stay as per TA/DA rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on the information provided in the application form.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Interview call letters will be sent by email.

There is no written exam for this post. Selection is based on shortlisting and interview only.
