Anna University, Chennai (Advt. No. DCHY/CMRG251380/2026/PA-1) has released a notification for 1 Project Assistant position to work in a research project titled "Fuel Cell as an Alternate Energy Source for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (DRONES) for Enhanced Endurance" funded by CMRG, Tamil Nadu. The selected candidate may also register for the Ph.D. programme in Anna University after clearing the Ph.D. Entrance Exam and interview. This is a great chance for chemistry and energy engineering postgraduates who want hands-on research experience in fuel cells and drone technology.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry OR M.E. Energy Engineering OR M.Tech in Energy Studies, Energy Systems, Chemical Engineering, or Nanotechnology from a recognised university.
• Desirable: Knowledge in Fuel Cells and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (DRONES) is preferred.
• NET/GATE: If you have qualified NET (JRF/LS) or GATE, attach the certificate along with year and validity.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000 per month.
• The project duration is 3 years.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email only.
2. Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written test.
3. Interview: Bring your original certificates and other relevant documents.

Selection criteria will be as per the guidelines of Anna University. Selected candidates may also register for the Ph.D. programme after clearing the Ph.D. Entrance Exam.
