Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, also known as Amdavad Municipal Corporation, has released Advertisement No. 36/2025-26 for the post of Curator at Sanskar Kendra Museum. Sanskar Kendra is a heritage museum designed by the legendary architect Le Corbusier, housing the City Museum and Kite Museum on the banks of the Sabarmati river. Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree with History as a main subject in Museology or Archaeology
• Candidates with a Postgraduate qualification will get preference
• You must have at least 1 year of experience working as a Curator in a Museum

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age relaxation is available as per Gujarat government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD)

Salary

• Pay Matrix Level 9 under 7th Pay Commission
• Monthly salary: Rs. 53,100 to Rs. 1,67,800
• Old pay scale equivalent: Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400
• You will also get standard government allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per AMC rules

Selection Process
