ICDS Pathalgaon (Integrated Child Development Services, Project Pathalgaon, District Jashpur, Chhattisgarh) is hiring for 4 Anganwadi Karyakarta and Anganwadi Sahayika posts at Anganwadi centres across the project area. ICDS Pathalgaon Anganwadi Karyakarta & Sahayika Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

The Office of the Project Officer, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Project Pathalgaon, District Jashpur (Chhattisgarh), has released notification number 255/Estt.02/ICDS/2026-27 dated 3 August 2026 for filling vacant Anganwadi Karyakarta and Anganwadi Sahayika posts at approved Anganwadi centres in the Gram Panchayats and Nagar Panchayat wards under this project. This recruitment follows directions from the Chhattisgarh Women and Child Development Department. Only women residents of the local project area can apply, and preference is given to candidates with prior Anganwadi-related work experience or those from families below the poverty line.

Who Can Apply?

• Gender: Only women candidates are eligible for both the Anganwadi Karyakarta and Anganwadi Sahayika posts.
• Age: You must be at least 18 years old, as per the notification.
• Residence: You should be a resident of the local Gram Panchayat or Nagar Panchayat area where the vacant Anganwadi centre is located.
• Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of prior work experience as Anganwadi Sahayika, Sah-Sahayika, Baalwadi worker, or at Urban Special Nutrition Food Distribution Centres or Shishu Shiksha Kendras under this project.
• Preference is also given to applicants from families Below the Poverty Line (BPL), based on the Socio Economic and Caste Census 2011 list, on submission of a valid BPL certificate.

• You should be at least 18 years old to apply for the Anganwadi Karyakarta or Anganwadi Sahayika post.

Salary

• Anganwadi Karyakarta and Anganwadi Sahayika are honorary posts. You will get a fixed honorarium as per Chhattisgarh Women and Child Development Department norms, not a regular pay-scale salary.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Your application and attached documents are checked for completeness. Late or incomplete applications are rejected, and no new or additional documents are accepted after the deadline.
2. Weightage for Experience/BPL Status: Extra weightage is given for prior Anganwadi-related work experience and BPL family status, as per the notified criteria.
3. Provisional List: A provisional selection list is uploaded on the official portal after evaluation by the committee.
4. Objection Window and Final List: You can raise objections against the provisional list within the given time before the final list is issued.
