AIIMS Bilaspur Consultant (Accounts) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bilaspur is an autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute is looking to engage retired government servants as Consultant (Accounts) on a contract basis for one year, which can be extended up to two years based on performance and institutional needs. This is a re-employment opportunity for retired officers with expertise in government finance and accounts. If you have retired from a Central or State Government body with accounts experience, this role lets you continue contributing your skills at one of India's premier medical institutes.

Who Can Apply?

This post is strictly for retired government officers. You must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1: Degree + 8 Years Experience

• Qualification: Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution or university
• Experience: Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in Central Government, State Government, Government Autonomous Body, or PSU in Level 7 or above (7th CPC Pay Matrix) or equivalent levels in 6th CPC

Option 2: SAS Qualification + 15 Years Experience

• Qualification: SAS (Subordinate Accounts Service / Finance & Accounts Service) qualification
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in Central Government, State Government, Government Autonomous Body, or PSU

Mandatory: Ability to use Internet and Computer System is compulsory.

Note: Officers with working experience in Accounts section of Central Autonomous Bodies, Institutions, or Government Medical Colleges will be preferred.

Officers retired from organisations where Central pay matrix/scales are not followed will have their status equated with Central pay matrix/scales for eligibility and experience purposes.

Age Limit

• Your age must be below 64 years as on 7 April 2026.
• You must not have been retired as a matter of punishment and should not have any criminal record.

Salary

• The monthly salary is calculated as: Last Pay Drawn (at retirement) minus Basic Pension (including the commuted portion).
• No increments and no Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided during the contract period.
• No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given.
• A fixed Transport Allowance will be provided for commuting, based on your retirement entitlements.
• TA/DA for official tours will be provided based on your pay level at the time of retirement.
• Income Tax or any other applicable tax will be deducted at source before payment.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following process:

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on your experience and qualifications.
2. Selection Committee Assessment: The selection committee will decide the method of final selection based on the number of applications received. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the process separately.

The competent authority reserves the right to select or reject any candidate or discontinue the selection process without assigning any reason.

• Conduct stock verification and prepare valuation reports
• Provide tax advisory support and handle tax compliance matters
