Who Can Apply?

Para Pump Operator

• Qualification: Matric (10th pass) with an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Pump Operation-cum-Mechanic, or Pump Operation & Maintenance trade.
• Matric with a Skill Development Scheme certificate in the above trades is also accepted.
• You must attach a detailed Matriculation mark sheet with your application.

Para Fitter

• Qualification: Matric (10th pass) with an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade, or a Skill Development Scheme certificate in the same trades.

Multipurpose Worker

• Qualification: Middle Pass (8th class) or equivalent from a recognized school.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old to apply for these posts.
• The BPL category benefit applies only to Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter posts.

Salary

• Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter posts pay an honorarium of Rs. 7,100 per month.
• The Multipurpose Worker post pays an honorarium of Rs. 6,000 per month.
• These are engagement posts on a honorarium basis under the Para Worker Policy — no separate DA, HRA or TA is payable.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection for these Para Staff posts does not involve a written exam:

1. Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter: Selected through a skill test and a physical test.
2. Multipurpose Worker: Your merit is calculated from your Middle (8th) pass percentage (up to 6 points), relevant work experience of 6 months or more in a Himachal Pradesh Government, Semi-Government, PSU or outsourcing agency (up to 6 points, half a point per completed 6 months), and a physical/skill test (up to 2 points).
3. Document Verification at the time of the test.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the skill or physical test. The date and venue for the test will be communicated separately through the newspaper, notice board, or by telephone.
