BBMCH Balangir has released Advertisement No. 2443 for 1 Laboratory Technician post in the Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU), a research facility set up under the Department of Health Research, Government of India, at the hospital. This is a contractual position for 364 days, which may be curtailed or extended based on your performance and the availability of project funds. Note: You will have no claim to regularization of your service at BBMCH, Balangir under this engagement, and it depends entirely on satisfactory performance. There is no written exam for this post — you get selected through document verification and an interview after an initial screening of applications.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Route 1): 10+2 with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) plus a B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, along with 1 year of lab experience in a recognized institute after your degree.
• Qualification (Route 2): 10+2 with Science subjects plus a 2-year DMLT Diploma from an AICTE-approved institute.
• Preferred: Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology and Quality Assurance labs will be given preference.
• You must be a citizen of India and be in good physical and mental health, free from any condition that would interfere with your duties.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 38 years old.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 20,000 plus HRA.
• Since this is a contract post, you get a fixed consolidated amount rather than a 7th CPC pay-scale range.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
