AIIMS Bilaspur has released a notification (Advt. No. AIIMS-BLS/Nephro/01/25-236, dated 21 July 2026) for 1 Project Technical Support-III post under the Department of Nephrology, to work on an ICMR-funded multicentre research project titled "Refining Kidney Function Assessment in Indians: Towards Accurate Estimation of Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) in Clinical Practice" (the GFR Study). The role works under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Vikrant, HOD-cum-Principal Investigator, Department of Nephrology, and is purely temporary and project-based with no claim to permanent employment at AIIMS Bilaspur or continuation in any other project. Candidates from Life Sciences or Medical Lab Technology backgrounds with hands-on clinical research experience should apply. This is a good opportunity if you want to build research experience in a premier medical institute even though the role is short-term.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc in MLT/Life Sciences with 3 years' relevant experience, OR M.Sc in MLT/Life Sciences or a relevant field.
• Desirable Experience: Clinical research experience including participant screening and enrolment, phlebotomy (blood sample collection), blood sample processing, separation, aliquoting, and handling of biological samples.
• Other Skills: Proficiency in computers, MS Excel, MS Word, and basic knowledge of database management.
• Education Recognition: All your educational, professional, and technical qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University and obtained through full-time study.
• Your age and qualifications will be assessed as on the last date of the advertisement (4 August 2026).

Age Limit

• You should be 35 years or younger as on the last date of the advertisement.
• No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the interview, including for SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 28,000 plus HRA per month, as admissible.
• This is a fixed, consolidated amount with no additional allowances or benefits.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in three stages, all on the same day:

1. Document Verification: Only candidates with complete and eligible applications are shortlisted for the written test.
2. Written Test: All eligible applicants take a written test from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on 11 August 2026.
3. Interview: Only candidates who clear the written test are called for an interview held the same day, after the written test results are declared.

The interview will be held at the 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, Kothipura, AIIMS Bilaspur, with reporting time at 9:00 AM. No admit card or call letter will be issued, and reporting after 9:00 AM will not be entertained. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification, and no inquiries will be entertained after the due date.
