ACTREC Assistant Medical Superintendent Recruitment 2026

Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), a Grant-in-Aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy under Tata Memorial Centre, has released notification ACTREC/ADVT./2026 for an ad-hoc Assistant Medical Superintendent post. The role is in Medical Administration, ACTREC at Sector 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Selection is through walk-in or Zoom interview, so there is no written exam in this notification.

The post is initially for six months and may be extended as per the Centre's requirement. This opening is best suited for doctors or dental graduates who moved into hospital administration, healthcare administration, or healthcare management after their clinical degree.

Who Can Apply?

Basic Medical Qualification

• Qualification: You must have MBBS or BDS from a recognised university in India.
• Medical Council qualification: A medical qualification included in the recognised schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 is also acceptable, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.

Hospital Administration Qualification and Experience

• Route 1: MD or DNB in Hospital/Healthcare Administration, or an equivalent recognised qualification, with 3 years of hospital administration experience after the PG degree in hospitals with at least 100 beds.
• Route 2: Full-time MHA, full-time MBA, or a full-time PG degree recognised as equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU, with 4 years of hospital administration experience after the PG degree in hospitals with at least 100 beds.
• Experience note: The hospital administration experience must be counted after obtaining the PG degree, so internship or pre-PG experience should not be treated as the main eligibility experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 50 years as on the advertisement date, 15 May 2026.

Salary

• Consolidated monthly salary is Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,40,000.
• The exact pay depends on your qualification and experience.
• The appointment is initially for six months and can be extended if ACTREC needs the service further.
• The salary is consolidated, so check the notification and interview instructions for any separate facility or allowance details.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ACTREC will select through document verification and interview.

1. Document Check: Your bio-data, photo, identity documents, qualification certificates, and experience certificates will be checked first.
2. Walk-in or Zoom Interview: The interview will be held on 22 May 2026. Walk-in reporting time is 12:00 noon to 12:30 PM.
3. Final Selection: Final selection depends on your qualification, relevant hospital administration experience, and interview performance.

5. For the Zoom interview, send a request by email to recruitment@actrec.gov.in on or before 21 May 2026.
6. Attach self-attested copies of your date of birth proof, photograph, PAN card, qualification certificates, and experience certificates with the email.
7. Mention your request clearly for the Zoom interview and keep your phone/email active for ACTREC communication.

If you are attending in person, reach the venue within the 12:00 noon to 12:30 PM reporting window. Late reporting may create problems because document checking and interview coordination are handled by the recruitment cell on the same day.
