Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is holding a walk-in interview to fill a Technician - Radiodiagnosis position at its ACTREC campus in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC — the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer — is TMC's dedicated cancer research and treatment campus, separate from the main Parel hospital, and its Radiodiagnosis department supports imaging for cancer diagnosis, staging and CT/MRI-guided procedures. The post is on an outsourced contract basis through A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd., one of TMC's manpower service contractors, and you would work alongside TMC's regular radiology team rather than as a direct TMC employee. You'll get to work across advanced imaging platforms — including 128/256-slice CT scanners, 1.5T/3.0T MRI machines and Biplane DSA systems — that are not available at every diagnostic centre, giving you hands-on exposure that's hard to get elsewhere this early in a radiology-technician career. Candidates with a recognised radiology imaging qualification who are comfortable across multiple imaging modalities, not just one, should apply.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract Duration: The engagement runs for 6 months to begin with, extendable depending on department requirement.
• Mandatory Competency: You must be able to independently perform X-ray, CT, MRI, DEXA, OPG and fluoroscopy examinations, and be willing to work across whichever imaging modality the department needs on a given day.
• Desirable Experience: Prior experience in Mammography or Interventional Radiology (IR) will strengthen your candidature, though it isn't mandatory.
• Consolidated Pay: The exact salary offered within the notified range depends on how much relevant experience you bring beyond the minimum eligibility criteria.
• Age Relaxation: The age cap can be relaxed for candidates with strong relevant experience, at the selection committee's discretion.
