Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a premier cancer treatment and research institute functioning as a Grant-in-Aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Through notification TMC/AD/124/2026 dated 20 July 2026, TMC has invited applications for 2 Statistician posts under the "CRS & DAE-CTC" research project (A/c No. 0963) at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. The position is initially for a period of six months and supports statistical analysis work on ongoing clinical research. Freshers can also apply — relevant field experience is only desirable, not mandatory, so this is a good opportunity for recent M.Sc Statistics graduates to start a career in medical research.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an M.Sc in Statistics from a recognized university.
• Experience: Experience in a relevant field is desirable but not compulsory — freshers can apply too. If you have no prior experience, simply mention "Fresher" in the experience column of your application.
• Grade Flexibility: TMC may offer you a lower or higher grade than advertised based on your working experience, research track record, and overall performance at the interview.

Age Limit

• You should be under 50 years of age to apply for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 45,000 per month (minimum).
• Your final salary may be revised upward or downward depending on your experience and the Selection Committee's assessment at the interview.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 3 stages:

1. Initial Screening: TMC screens all applications based on qualification and experience. Meeting the minimum qualification alone does not guarantee a call for the test or interview, since TMC can restrict the number of candidates called based on merit.
2. Online MCQ Test: Shortlisted candidates take an online multiple-choice test to further narrow down the candidate pool.
3. Interview: Candidates who clear the test are called for a personal interview with the Selection Committee.

You must carry your printed application form, original documents, and one set of photocopies covering your qualification and experience details to the interview. Incomplete applications will be rejected outright.
