The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is hiring for 7,437 posts in the Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force departments across Telangana. Constable-level posts alone account for 7,112 of the 7,437 vacancies — the biggest chunk of jobs. Who Can Apply?

For Constable-Level Posts:

• Qualification: You need to have passed Intermediate (12th) or an equivalent exam recognised by the state government.

For Sub Inspector-Level Posts:

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Age Limit

• For Constable-level posts, you should be between 18 and 22 years old as on 1 July 2026.
• For Sub Inspector-level posts, you should be between 21 and 25 years old.
• Age Relaxation: An additional 5-year relaxation applies for uniformed-service recruitment, effectively raising the general upper age limit to around 27 years. SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories get further relaxation as per Telangana government rules.

Salary

• Constable-level posts: Rs. 24,280 to Rs. 72,850 per month
• ASI (Finger Print Bureau): Rs. 33,750 to Rs. 99,310 per month
• Station Fire Officer / Deputy Jailor: Rs. 38,890 to Rs. 1,12,510 per month
• Sub Inspector-level posts: Rs. 42,300 to Rs. 1,15,270 per month
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Telangana government rules.

Application Fee

• OC / BC candidates (local and other-state): Rs. 800
• SC / ST candidates (local Telangana): Rs. 400
• Extra fee for each additional notification (Common Procedure Regimen) you apply for: Rs. 100 (OC/BC) or Rs. 50 (SC/ST)
• Payment mode: Online only — credit card, debit card, or net banking. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection process has up to 4 stages depending on your post:

1. Preliminary Written Test (PWT): One 3-hour exam for Constable-level posts and one 3-hour exam for SI-level posts. Not applicable for technical posts.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Held for candidates who qualify the PWT, using RFID bibs, digital height measurement and other equipment.
3. Trade Test / Driving Test: For SCT PC (Mechanic/Driver) posts, held after qualifying PMT/PET.
4. Final Written Examination: One 3-hour exam for Constable-level posts; four 3-hour papers (including two descriptive papers) for SI-level posts, for candidates who clear PMT/PET.

Biometric verification is conducted at various stages of the process.

How to Apply

1. Go to the TSLPRB portal at www.tgprb.in between 19 August and 9 September 2026.
2. Register using your mobile number as your User ID.
3. Select the notification and post you are eligible for.
4. Fill in the Part-I online application with your details.
5. Upload your photograph and signature as prescribed.
6. Pay the fee online and submit your application.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for your records.
8. Download the Aadhaar App on your mobile phone before filling the form — it is required for Aadhaar Face Authentication.
